    Training Courses

    Overview

    Consilience believes that an appropriate investment in people is utterly critical for both governments and the private sector. We specialise in providing training in energy trading and related topics such as the regulatory regime, operational practices and financial security. We limit the number of attendees on our courses to allow us to concentrate on the specific needs of individual clients by combining lively courses with interactive work groups and case studies. We provide a safe learning environment where delegates can feel comfortable asking the detailed questions of concern to them.

    Training Courses – Capacity Building Workshops

    CDM and Voluntary Project Capacity Building Courses and Workshops

    Consilience offers tailored training and independent advisory solutions to Designated National Authorities (DNAs) and investors in environmentally friendly projects. Our knowledge encompasses both the Kyoto project mechanisms and voluntary sector projects, verified to the highest internationally recognised standards.

    Consilience can provide customised interactive workshops to help

    • Assess project sustainability criteria;
    • Select the most appropriate development mechanism to generate the correct number and type of carbon offsets;
    • Evaluate realistically the project additionality criteria in the context of the returns needed by investors in a capital-constrained market;
    • Valorise the offsets generated by the project.

    At Consilience we are sensitive to the budgetary limits faced by DNAs and developers of marginal projects involving new technologies and can provide a package that suits clients’ needs and funds.
